About the... Author? Am I allowed to call myself that?

Ivan: Ivan Overmoyer is a writer living in a world that very often catches him by surprise and, more specifically, Rochester, New York. Being out of school for several years now he has come to the discovery that there are still countless things he has no idea how to do correctly, but he can still arrange symbols in a white space to form coherent thoughts most of the time, so he's got that going for him at least. That being said, writing in the third person is still awkward.
